Invision Power Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the third public beta of IP.Nexus, the second public beta of the Billing application and the first public beta of the CMS application is now available for download to all existing IPS customers with an active license in your client area.
IP.Nexus is our business management application. The IP.Nexus system consists of a primary application and the ability to add-in applications to expand the capabilities of the system as business needs change.
IP.Nexus is a complete business management system with an extensible framework to expand its functionality as your business needs change.
Features include:
- Customer database management
- Support Desk
- Ticket based support via Client Area submission or email routing
- Multiple departments and categories
- Assign task to departments
- Multiple ticket statuses to help prioritize responses
- Ticket weighting by rules
- Emailed tickets automatically attached to customer account if it exists
- Knowledge base system shown in client area and inserted into ticket replies

- Customer login to private client area
- Integration with other IPS products
- Submit support tickets to the IP.Nexus support desk
- Content Management
- Simple page publishing for a front end web site
- Global Features
- Calendar, task lists, projects, and other organizational management

Please note that this beta release is IonCube encoded, will expire 30 December 2007, and is (as with all beta software) unsupported and not fit for a production environment at this time. It is important that you only participate in the beta testing if you are comfortable working with IonCube encoded software and software in a beta stage of development.
We welcome your feedback. A bug tracker category for reporting issues has been created and a special IP.Nexus beta feedback discussion forum is available.
Upgrading From Previous Beta Releases
Currently there is no upgrade path for existing installations. To take advantage of all the bug fixes, we recommend that you install a new copy of the software.
Installing the CMS & Billing Applications
Once you have installed the main IP.Nexus application, upload the contents of the ‘upload’ folder from the ‘Billing’ and ‘CMS’ download. The file structure has been preserved in the zip.
Once the files have been uploaded, log into your IP.Nexus ACP and click on ‘Applications & Modules’ -> ‘Manage Applications & Modules’. You’ll see the Billing and CMS application at the bottom of the screen. Click on its ‘Install’ link to start the installation procedure for each application.

We are pleased to announce that the public beta of IP.Download Manager 1.2.0 has been released.
Note that this public beta is only available to existing IP.Download Manager customers.
This is the first public beta release (earlier betas were released internally) so please take a moment and read this entire announcement before downloading.
- As this is a BETA release there will be bugs and issues with the software. Please report any issues using our bug tracker. Before reporting please first quickly check to see if anyone has already reported your issue.
- Technical support is not available for public betas.
- Do not use this software on a public install. Wait for the final series for your public download manager installation.
- If you wish to test the upgrade please do so on a copy of your database. Do not perform an upgrade on your live data. We will not be able to assist you if the upgrade fails.
- You will be able to upgrade from IP.Download Manager 1.2.0 Public Beta 1 to 1.2.0 final when it is available.
- In general, only download and participate in the beta test if you are comfortable doing so.

This release is a bug fix and maintenance release for IP.Board. While there are skin changes to fix skin-related bugs, those changes are not critical. There is no need to revert your custom skin changes on upgrade if you are not experiencing problems.
You can download the latest release of IP.Board in your client area. If you are currently running IP.Board 2.3.1 there is a changed files only download in the client area.

This release is a bug fix and maintenance release for IP.Gallery.
