UseBB 1.0.9 released

After eight months without a new release, here is UseBB "still alive" 1.0.9. UseBB is a light and Open Source PHP/MySQL bulletin board package.Version 1.0.9 fixes the bugs discovered since the release of 1.0.8 in September 2007, including:- BBCode in links breaks XML well-formedness;- RSS feed fails to validate;- redirect URLs containing backslashes on some platforms (Windows);- Jabber link on profile needs "xmpp" as protocol, not "jabber";- made smiley image tags refer to the path using ROOT_PATH.As always, upgrading is recommended. Have you ever saved a post on your blog only to realize later that you accidentally erased a critical paragraph? Ever worked on a blog with multiple authors and needed to keep a log of who changed what and when?

WordPress should store a history of all your posts. You’d get protection from accidental changes, and you’d be able to see a clear timeline of the evolution of each of you posts.

Happily, WordPress is awesome! In the upcoming WordPress 2.6 release, the feature exists and rules!

MyBB 1.2.13 Released – Security Update

MyBB

MyBB 1.2.13 is a security update to the MyBB 1.2 series. It fixes 1 HIGH risk and 1 Medium risk security vulnerability. We recommend everybody upgrades to this release immediately or patches their boards with the manual patching instructions below.

These vulnerabilities affect MyBB 1.2.12 and previous releases of MyBB 1.2. Older versions of MyBB may also be affected.
