There are no catches, only that you need to be in the Registered User group in order to post links; you are automatically promoted to that group once you have gained 10 posts and are moved from the Inactive User's group. Apart from that there are no link backs, continual requirements etc .. just post in your site URL and a helpful and informative description and give others the opportunity to find your forums once again  |
Yes. Hopefully this will develop some affiliations, which in turn can bring members here. Like the ideas, Mike. The "Inactive" User Group may discourage members from posting or drive them to post more and upgrade their User Group. Personally, I think the members who just joined should be informed of the features they are missing with the low post count. That may motivate them to stay and post, so they can get the fullest out of TSL.
The longer they stay, the more likely they are to stay long term. That's my philosophy.
