I personally dont recommend topsites. Not only do they clug your site full of horrible images, and linkbacks which not only slows page creation time but also devalues your site in Google eyes but none of these topsites are actually linking to you; they are using a php code such as
id?=23 which would translate to ;
www.googleexample.com ... therefore when a search engine spidered that particular forum it would be completely at unawares your site even existed there.
