[The Kaiser]

Shadow of Rome takes place around aceint Rome right before Julius Ceasar was assinated. There are two main characters, Agrippa, A centurion in the roman army, and Octavianus, Ceasars nephew and adopted son. Agrippa and Octavionus are best freinds. The game take place a couple of days before Ceasar is assinated and Agrippa is on the battlefield fighting with the bordering Germanic tribes. Soon after conquering them Agrippa gets a message that Ceasar was assinated. But on the other hand you will switch between Agrippa and Octavionus. Octavionus will be used as a solver of puzzles and stealth. Agrippa will specialize in combat. Back the the main picture, Agrippa heads backs to Rome and sees that his father has been suspected for the crime. Meanwhile Octavionus Sneaks into the Senate House and sees whats going on. He soon finds out that they are going to give the strongest gladiator the chance to slay Vipsanious, Agrippa's father. While seeing his mother get exucuted in Rome he is about to be exucuted beacuse he disturbed the act unto a strange woman named Claudia saved him and Octavionus.

While sneaking into the Syrucuse Prison and talking to Vipsanious they find out the Claudia's brother, Sextus, is the manager of the gladatorial games. So Agrippa goes to Sextus and becomes a gladiator in hope of rescuing his father while Octaviounus finds out more about Vipsanious' exucution and hopes to find the real assasin of Julius Ceasar.


I have not finished this game yet but this seems very good. I'll give it a 9.5 out of 10. It does'nt have perfect graphics but good story line and gameplay. It also has great actions such as cutting off someone's arm or head or strangeling someone with a rope and many more.
