Board of the Month Guidelines

The BoTM (Board of the Month) isnt admitadly a unique feature to any resource forum, but we feel that our blend of positive and optimist comments and atmosphere that we can turn this competition into a fiercly driven and competitive area which will be hotly contended each month. For those wanting to view the prizes dont be disappointed they are up next:

The Prizes:

• A range of TSL Site of the Month award image to use on your community forum.
• One month listing on The Staff Lounge Forum Home page
• One month promotional banner on The Staff Lounge

Timetable:

1st of month – nominations open
Last day of month – nominations close

1st day of subsequent month poll commences
Last day of month poll closes

Last day of month – Winning site announced.
Nominations for the next forum of the month will open as polling commences for the month before.

Nomination Guidelines:

If your web site is selected for the final vote, it MUST be operational. If your site or server is not running at the time the poll is set, then an alternate site will take its place. Once nominating has ended there will be a short period of time whereby staff will randomly select a total of 5 forums to compete for the title of BoTM. Again this procedure will be totally random and unbiased.

You can nominate your own web site, but you must sit out a month before you can nominate it again. If your web site wins, it cannot be nominated again for another year. Well will accept nominations for any themed website running under any forum software and domain extention. Of course when you are nominating a website it is required to post in the URL to website and not the site name.

There will be a maximum of 5 applicants each voting period.

Because of this, we shall also a require a verifcation system, therefore the first 5 links to be posted and "seconded" by another member are added into the Board of the Month process.
