Hello everyone

Projects grow and change, with phpBB being no different and I'd like to say a big "thank-you" on everyone's behalf to Doreo whom have very generously provided phpBB hosting for the last 3 years or so.

The new home for phpBB will be at OSUOSL whom provide hosting for other well known Opensource projects such as Gentoo, Mozillazine, Debian, Freenode, Apache, Drupal (you get the idea! ).

The server will go offline at 10:00 UTC, 28th of February 2006. We will maintain a minimal site providing access to downloads during this time, whilst support for phpBB, MODs and Styles will be hosted at Area51.phpBB.com. The MODs and Styles databases will be offline however so validation will be on hold during this time.

This plan should minimise inconvenience and will allow all of you whom have yet to register on Area51 to try out the next generation phpBB3 "Olympus" in a real environment!

We hope to have the move completed no later than 3rd of March 2006, so see you all again soon!
