Which of the above listed browsers is your favourite, taking into account overall features such as security, stability, developments, extentions and design. For me, Mozilla Firefox 1.5 wins it hands down on every count

For me it was between Avant and Maxthon. But I chose Maxthon.

Opera is my favorite with Firefox coming in second.
Opera has more features than a default install of Firefox and is smaller in file size.

Opera is much more secure in a sense and more complete than FireFox.

But, for some reason I always go back to Firefox. :p

I have exactly the same problem. I love Opera but everytime I switch to it some sort of Firefox thing just drags me back and I love it. It's like a love/hate relationship.

I have been using Opera alot more recently when Firefox decides it wants to playup, the only thing i think it lacks in comparison to Firefox is its extensibility which Firefox completely owns with a wide range of extentions and plugins which help turn the browser into a computer focus hotspot, allowing you to perform multiple tasks without closing your browser. I also think that Opera has suffered abit from bad marketing, if they had gone ad free before all the fuss of the Firefox 1.0 release they could have occupied a bigger slice of market instead of just taking second place as the best free browser.

I agree with the advertising comment. Opera really needs to get on the ball with advertising and they could do a lot if they followed the model used by Firefox.
