Discuss. My favorite would have to be Chrono Trigger for the SNES. It was, in my opinion, one of the, if not THE, best RPGs ever. If definitely started a lot of hype for RPGs, and the game itself is extremely fun, and nearly flawless.

Why it is your favorite: It was the first ever RPG to be more than one disk in gaming history and is still one of the most enjoyable games out there. The game that got me into the FF series.

Why is it your favorite game? First of all I have always been a lover of Greek Mythology. Second, have you seen Kratos, the main character. The Creators wanted him to look angry, brutal, and pissed off. With all this Kratos still looks cool. It also has a great story. You can't have a good RPG without a good story. You have the power of the gods and the chain blades. "power of the gods" such as Zeus' lightning bolts, Athena's sword, Medusa's head, Poisidon's rage, and so on. You fight legions of undead soldiers sent by Ares and you also fight gorgons, minators, cyclops, and more. This is just a perfect game. If you don't like it you don't desearve to play another game.
