A Dragon Ball Z that DOESN'T suck! The latest DBZ game, Tenchaichi, is actually GOOD! The whole 360/3D fighting system makes this game another party game on my list. Though they were exagerating when they said 50+ characters...and example would be:

Gohan
Teen Gohan
Adult Gohan

Vegeta
Vegeta with Scouter <-OMG! Like, cool?!

Frieza, versions 1, 2, and *gasp*...3!

There just several versions of each character, but there all cool since there moves are "somewhat" different. And the special moves are now done with simple L2 + Triangle or Square commands. The only thing(s) that I found bad about the game is the fact that the best moves can only be done if your opponent is a complete idiot and would let you charge for 15 seconds...and the menu screen STILL has the DBZ characters "trying" to talk to you, which REALLY get's annoying. The camera can take some time to get used to aswell since you play, looking behind the character at times.

The past Budokai games, plus that retarded action DBZ game in the past few years SUCKED. But this one though, was the game that everyone has been waiting for.

Final Rating: 7/10

A fine choice for this holiday season!

Meh.. Might look at it. Budokai 3 was alright, everything else was really bland.

Dude, Budokai was nothing compared to this game. I don't know what spark of "good" hit the creator, but it worked.

Does this one actually follow all the way through or does it skip over parts as all the others have? I noticed in the previous games (disclude Sagas as I've not played it), they skip parts and I hated that most of all.

I used to be an avid DBZ fan, but when I played those games and heard the voice overs, I lost the little respect I did have for Funimation. The Japanese versions will always be where my addiction remains.

There voice acting is ok, I guess. The mouth movement is still weak. But damn man, the battle system is off the HOOK!

It's so addicting and fun. This game is that cool! It truly puts you in the cartoon, being able to do and destroy whatever you want.
