At the very least they are labeled correctly, violence will be present anywhere you go, its just that I hope you dont let your child be overexposed with these games that they dont know whats real and whats not, theres a story I read before about this 10 year old kid who really likes and is good with CS... One day one of his classmates bullied him and he was all worked up and miserable that when he found his dads handgun, without hesitation he went to school with it and just outside their school found the bully and shot at him... When asked why he shot him and what was he thinking he said he was angry at him and that he wants to teach him a lesson, then added "Oh, hell be back on the next round"...

Doom 3 tells me to kill mutated, vicious, hellish monsters.

Not innocent people.

But that's just me.

It's the same with Pokemon. Some people think Pokemon/Yugioh/Harry Potter is evil, but it's not. It's fictitious - made up. If you read books, play games, etc, and just do it as a pasttime - it's fine. But if you get so sucked in that it's controlling your life - then it's dangerous, and that's when kids take guns to school and say cliche, fishy things like "He'll be back next round."

ESRB. Four letters. End the story.

There are R rated movies. There are NC-17 movies, XXX movies, and sites online like SnuffX and whatnot, that are violent and malicious... And they are allowed. But it's the parent's fault for buying them, if they are the problem. Personally, I think it takes a real sad case to take pointers from a videogame and use them in real life, anyway. Videogames have a rating system for a reason, so they have nothing to complain about.

They're just looking for something to blame.

People just look for something to blame and since video games are so popular, they point the finger at them.

I don't see how a game influences you...unless you like, 3 years old and have no common sence at all.

IMO, games are not the problems. It's the parents. Game do not influence anything. You must be pretty retarded to be influenced by a video game.

The games have ratings on the covers parents, they are there for a reason you flippen retards. Maybe you should give you kid some attention once in a while. That might help!

People just blame games because there the big thing right now. They blame them because people just want to point there fingers at any little thing possible. There never going to stop making violent games. Why? Cause it's a multi-billion dollar industry and it's only way a person can literally hurt someone and not have to face to conciquences.

IMO, games help cause LESS crime. It gives people something to do. It's pretty much todays Anti-Drug.
