LP news

Here's how it is. Linkin Park is, if not, one of the greatest bands ever to hit it big. With over 35 million copies sold world wide, why would any think that this day would come. Mike, the second vocalist/keyboard/guitar/sampler, might be going solo. Thing is, LP is known as THAT band. There mix of rock and rap is truly AMAZING.

One thing though, Mike never wanted to be known as "second vocalist". You see, the world loves LP but when brought up in conversation, the first name you hear is "Chester", the lead singer. Mike has the ultimate respect for Chester but wants the world to know that he is a growing prodigy. His raps on the latest CD don't get as noticed as Chesters constant screaming and mellowed out vocals.

So Mike decided to start up a side project. In just 2 months, November 22nd, Mike's new CD, "Fort Minor" will be released. The beats and vocals, all Mike. It's just him and him alone. Of course he has the special guest rappers (I'll leave that as a surprise, I was shocked as well) but most of there vocals were written by Mike himself.

Mike said durring an interview: To my band, you've thought me so much. And to all the LP fans, it's not over just yet!

Could it be!? Another album!!!!! OMFG YES!!!!!

Mike want's to be the first rapper who makes all his beats and songs on his own, no help at all. can he do it? Will he leave LP to become the best there is?

I'm not obsessing over a differant nations TV show. Plus, LP is a real band, not a bunch of people who think they can sing.

I remember you used LP in a debate abour rap vs rock, HM...


I do like LP a lot. But something I may or may not have brought up in that debate was subject material. LP does not make songs about what rappers rap about.

I notice I have this terrible habit of going on tangents today...
