My forums WebDTalk was just hacked. And I was blamed. Some ways to protect yourself and your vBulletin Forum!

1. Don't use the same password for the ACP and the Hosting account. If they hack through the ACP, they can do all they want, but they can't destroy the forum.

2. Download your config.php and edit the "Super Administrators" variable to include your userid. This will make it so that you cannot be edited.

3. Chose a harder password to guess. If you use a password like: Superman. It'll be easy to guess if they watch you long enough... Use something like: Spartan1245 or September41991_pa

This will give them a harder time to gain acp access.
Just a helpful tips for now.
Jeremy Out.

Also dont forget to keep your administrative passwords updated, changing them frequently. And dont just stick an ascending number onto the end of them after each month, e.g., superman1, superman2, superman3 and so forth. Keep it random and hard to predict, ideally something not found in a dictionairy and completely unlogical.

also:
- rename the admin & mod directories to something unique so they cannot be found via 'curious' bots and other visitors.
- password protect your admin & mod directories via .htaccess to protect them in the event of a compromised privileged account
- strip the version number from your site's software
- use symbols in your password (and make sure your password is a minimum of 8 characters)

Agreed, although all this wont make your site unhackable it is all about setting up the appropriate precautions and hinderances to help make deter any possible hackers away. Also the most important tip anyone can be provided with, BACKUP! Can actually make the actions of hacker easily overcome with a quick upload of all your previous data.

Every mortal fills out a salience that indicates which consoles they own and what games they change, so discovery someone with same tastes is a wow gold relatively oblanceolate thing. Traversing a want itemize of titles and adding them one by one is a little clunky, but Raptr's games database is astonishingly vast:
