Additional Notes: Firstly, congratulations on your one year anniversary something which many forums and websites alike fail to complete. Secondly, it appears that your transaction to becomming a teenager support forum has been reletively done a couple of weeks ago because of the small number of posts within those related forums in comparison to the more related general ones too. Because you are perhaps new to this side of the market i took the liberty of conducting some market research, one forum that caught my eye was TalkPanic which was a dedicated forum for helping anxious and stressful users. How what they do well here is to create a calming environment by the use of deep, oceanic colours without alot of white space which evoke a sense of isolation. With your forum you are using too much white space and not enough colours to entice your audience into thinking that joining your forums will benefit them in anyway. Also perhaps you could investigate into a custom modification for you forums with regards to an Articles Database, or a Help Center of some sort which users could use as a resource stop - this is because providing just a residence for a forum with a commuunity and a shoutbox isnt enough, and isnt original enough anymore. Good luck with your forums and hopefully with these suggestions you could probally lock on into a rapidly changing and yet, demanding market segment.

Well, , the basis of my statement there was it was clearly a newly implemented feature into your forums. Although seems to be getting off to a good start.
