Other notes:
We've been online for about a year and 2 weeks and have experienced much more growth than I had ever anticipated. We are a photography forum that is solely based here in Texas which definitely makes us different from many other photography forums out there. I knew it would be tough to get a good member base since we were only focused on a particular state here in US and not necessarily catering to photographers world wide.

I am in the works on creating a main Portal Page to add to the forum as well. Hopefully that will be online shortly after the New Year.

I am always looking for any and every way to improve our forum so feel free to lemme know what you think...

Thanks for your time, I do appreciate it.

Additional Notes: Well this is certainly one excellent forum. I love how you combined something so unique and niche into a much more open and general format via the use of your other first and last forum categories. The skin design appears to be from www.vbstyles.com and personally i would have thought that a custom skin by a company like www.sleekskins.com may have been more appropriate to your forums tastes and needs since as a photographer you are normall striving for originality and breaking conventional boundries. Although the way you have implemented the advertisement and the Gallery works really well. Perhaps though you could work on developing the skin a little more as it appears to be more of less just the out of the box design.
Really good work though and long may it continue and reach the illustrious 10/10 mark

thanks a ton Michael for taking the time to review my forum. i really do appreciate it.

the forum skin is indeed from vbstyles and i will definitely have to check out sleekskins.com

one thing ive added to my forums is a better profile page format instead of the box stock VB profile.

to check out what i have implemented and also what i am currently working on, check this thread:

Wow that is impressive, i have seen something like this over at vb.org one recommendation would be move the Avatar from hogging its own slice of the table and perhaps floating it left instead. This way the central table which contains the main personal information isnt as crowded as before.

Will you be releasing this hack publically?

eactly... the profile now has the tables on the left side sucked up under the avatar...

that drove me crazy and it tok awhile for me to figure out which code to tweak...

in fact this is the one from vb.org... thread is titled something like Myspace profile etc.

i installed it on monday and have been tweaking it ever since! hehe.
