Additional Notes: It's very nice for a forum, but the idea itself is amazingly unoriginal, there are many sports forums. I don't see much that makes me think "Wow" when I see your forum. You need to advertise to get member activity, and you need to post much more! If you have many NEW topics to reply to, it will boost member activity. It's nice but if you had more activity then you'd see more from it. It's overall pretty nice .

Basically what she said. Sports forums are getting old and repative. Though there's always something to talk about at a sports forum, there never taken care of like a regular forum.

I'll post a larger review later on.

Thanks for the comments and criticism. While I agree that sports forums seem to be overplayed these days (they didn't appear to be as much when I first created it -- it started out on Proboards a year ago and then we switched to IF in June) I am doing all that I can to keep it afloat and keep it somewhat unique from others.

Do you have any suggestions for helping it stand out from other sports forums?

Perhaps you could develop into a more niche forums which are tailored towards a specific event or type of sport. For example you could become an Olympics forum which would of course fluxuatate in activity but would certainly have alot less competition than being a general sports forum.

- Have an original skin.
- Have well designed graphics.
- Focus on many sports.
- Have creative topics and competitions.
- Run your own "fantasy" league for every sport.

I think the fantasy league for every sport would be very original. Most just use American Football, but with this you attract many fans from different types of sports as well. Get a custom skin that no one else has, too. Maybe run a point system and the person with the most points at the end of a time frame wins a prize?

Minor suggestions.

Great suggestions Jennifer. I will definetly look to implement some of them in the New Year.

I absolutely want to get a custom skin made for the site, however, I'm not sure where a good site to request one is.

Any suggestions?
