Because of climates.. environments. We aren't all exactly the same as apes, but we have the same class as them. We're different species. It's all a system of kingdoms, etc. Human civilization evolved in the Fertile Crsecent by the Tigris and Euphrates. We then kept evolving and getting smarter.

I believe that God created the universe with the Big Bang, and mebbe used some adaptation/evolution along the way to form the universe the way He wanted.

-Something had to create us. Even if you do believe the universe condensed and exploded outwards, the cycle had to start with nothing.

-The bible is not completely literal. 'Jesus was in the desert for 40 days' doesn't mean he was there for exactly 960 hours. It just means he was there for a long time.

Since when was that not to be taken literally? The real Jewish word for day is used there, not the word used in Genesis, meaning a period of time.

I don't believe in God, so I obviously don't believe he created us. Something else, whether it be the big bang or what not, created us. I'm not just what that something is though.

I think the big bang may have created everything in the universe as a whole, but it obviously didn't create humans, directly. I was watching a show on the Science Channel (yeah, I'm a nerd :silly: ) that suggested that perhaps a comet (with living cells on it) from somewhere else in the universe crashed into Earth. With the right conditions, those cells created all living things on Earth. Just a theory.

I believe in Evolution. It actually has evidence to back it up and is much more plausible than some magical omnipresent being running around.

However, I sit firmly in the Agnostic camp since I cannot prove nor disprove the existance of such an entity.

As i've said, evolution. First there where microsmall creatures in the water. They evolved in Fish i believe. Then the fish evolved into amfibies. And so on xD
