In a virtual world where new blogs are created everyday, some for business, some for pleasure, the need for new blog software arises. Most all of us know about WordPress, but what alternatives have you seen/used and do you think of them as a better alternative to WP?

I like WP, but the admin interface is a bit dull for me and I'd rather not work around it to re-design it to make it nicer

WordPress for me, it is the most customizable, it is free, and is really the most appropiate for most start out bloggers.

It's a WordPress bandwagon

For me I use "Blogger" since I feel as that is more sophisticated looking and more serious. I write my more "Serious" entries in my Blogger. My Retarded, Stupid ones in a Live Journal or something.

After tinkering with b2, I have to say I believe it to be more powerful than WordPress. I was anble to not only install, configure and style b2 in 1/2 the time it took for WP, but I was able to modify it easier and get it to do exactly what I wanted.

blogger , although i think they could get better templates...update new ones regularly...althugh i like the categories feature that comes in a lot of ones like wordpress.
