Opinions on the whole "For Life" wristbands.

Lance Armstrong originally started this idea to raise money for cancer pantients. You know, the yellow wristbands. But recently, companies noticed the trend spreading with these. Like girls wearing 5 on each arm.

Now there's a wristband for everything! Do you think this trend needs to stop? Do you support it? Do you even give a flying f**k?

IMO, I saw this comming and frankly, I just don't care. Let people do what they want. Trends come and go.

I think it was cool and had an actual meaning for about 4 to 5 seconds, and then became an immediate fashion statement and then before you knew it there are bands for every single catch phrase you could possibly think of. A good thing spoilt.

But you didn't think of it, did you?

It's the only way young people will give money to a cancer foundation.

IMO more then 1 on each arm makes you look like a queer trying to keep up with the in crowd....when the in crowd has only 2......

I have no opinion on these bands. Most people who wear them wear it because they want to follow everyone else, not because of what it says. I mean, I bet 99% of them have never even donated to any foundations.

I used to wear a cancer one for a while. I stopped once I saw people wearing red ones and blue ones and yellow ones that said random crap on it. Then it just looked like a "fashion statement."

The issue is now that most of the bands being retailed arent giving their proceeds to charity, they are just commercialised now which makes them even more evil
