Yes I believe in the power of topsites DU host it's own topsite and I do believe having 100's of them would help forum traffic tenfold.

Though I dont recommend putting them on your forum your webpage would be sufficient... Or a link page that redirects however you like to do it..

And topsites are easy to find go to forums/website of related content and register on those and then go back to the topsites you found and find what sites are on them and find other sites on them go to them and get thier topsites and keep building them up.

As I will put it out right now the others are wrong. Topsites are hard work but they are worth the effeort anyhing you can do to drive traffic to you site is worth it.

Dave.. you are completly wrong..

Having hundreds of topsites will slow down the site majorly.. and thus people will not visit much. (Reason why I hate DU and do not go there). Aswell as it will cause SEBots to time out without indexing correctly, due to taking so long to load. And because of that drop your PR and whatnot. Search Engine's will give you thousands more hits than topsites will. And if you have too many topsites, then your lowering your rankings in search engines, thus your in the end lowering your overall hit's.

Putting them on your site will be worse then putting them on your forum. As your site will attract more hits from Search Engines then a forum would, and you would still ruin it.

I suggest only joining a max of 15 topsites.
