I am fairly new to VB, and I was looking for suggestions on how to get more traffic, and what topsites I could enter to help get me more members.

First Suggestion: Get a unique theme/skin for your forum, I am available for contract to do so, and there are several other designers out there as well. (Just hit me up with a PM if you are interested.

But why do I need a unique skin: If you've read any articles on how fast people really analyze websites ( in about 10 ms) you know that people are looking for a unique and eye appealing style first off. Content is secondary, next to the actual identity.

Second Suggestion: Get some content, an arcade possibly. But since your forum is wrapped around sports, I would suggest installing a betting system like vBookie so people could bet on games.
