...member titles!

I have been thinking for ages of what my member titles should be for my board (a teen board) and I can't think of any that aren't like the traditional 'new member', 'advanced member' ranks. Anyone have any ideas for me?

Emo, goth, punk, etc. going upwards to R&B and Hip-Hop.

I usually prefix each member title with the shortname for the forum.
eg, for The Staff Lounge we have the following stuff:

TSL Legend
TSL Obsessed
TSL Fixated

Wellf or me it all depends on the forum and the type of forum, like i have a graphic forum so i put:
N00b Designer etc Making designer the main point.

Yeah, I usually do that but I'm stuck of what to do for my board. I'm good at thinking of ideas for other people but at thinking of them for my own site...

Why not something simple such as:

• Visitor
• New Member
• Member
• Advanced Member
• Addicted Member

I can't really think of any specific names for a teen board, although the type of titles I provided should be able to use on every type of board.

I havent got a huge board so am able to change peoples if they would like one of their own .
we have the standard "member ones" and if someone wants something different I change it (doesnt take long)

O.o, don't have a huge board? you have like 900 members XD that's what I call huge.

Owh yeah, on topic again. I suck at making good member titles also. I mostly stick with the newbies, obsedded, dedicated etc. etc. etc. member titles (can't remember them precisly.

I dont like titles that are insulting to newer members, like n00b, or dumbass (yes i have had that before) .. try and make them all nice and encouraging.

You can just make it so they can change it themselves so you dont do anything.

You don't have to be unique.. I think it was Edward who said to keep things simple. Seriously, for a Teen board, there's no ranking system, really.. At least none that would be non-degrading. Just stick with stuff like Ed said, "New Members.. Active Member.. Veteran Member.." stuff like that. Besides, people will most likely want to customize their titles once they get the oppurtunity.
