The first stage
The very first stages to setting up a forum

Note:Written for Invisionfree.
Invisionfree chosen as it is one of the best for a first forum

Ok, to start you need to go to the Invisionfree website.
Then click the button marked Register
Finally fill out the necessary forums and click the register button and away you go!

From there you will have access to your very own InvisionFree forum, which is a customized version of IPB 1.3 written by one of their ex-support team members. There are thousands of modifications and skins written to make your board as customizable as possible.

I guess you could explain what InvisionFree is for those users whom havent heard of it. Essentialls InvisionFree is a free forum host with a largely credited reputation for fast servers and a large support database. Currently running off a stripped down version of IPB 1.3 the host has planned to upgrade to an inhouse IF 2.0 version sometime next summer which hopes to mimic somewhat IPB 2.0 > 1

IF isnt that bad, it is the wisest choice for any user unwilling to pay for hosting, domains and scripts.

IF is ok, nothing major. Forumforfree is better though. They use a Full version of v1.3Final. Much better in my opinion.

I agree, Invision Free is good for starters. Although, IPB/vB is soo much better than Invision Free.
