I have just set up my forum got the skin right and set up all the catergorys and forums but its got no posts in there..

This would not interest a new member a empty forum board how would i start off?? Would I simply go nuts and post as many posts as I can on my own to start off to give them something to look at or what??

Is it best to force registration for them to even see the forum or should i leave it so guests can at least look at what there going to get if they join??

How would I advertise my forum?? Its already listed in Google and 25 other search engines and I have told friends but what else could I do to bring them into my forum?? Its basically a fun forum for peopel to relax and have a laugh and giggle nothing really serious unless there is a need later on.

Any tips and help would be greatly appreciuated even the help of a proffessional admin would be nice too

Well, the first you could do is start up a few interesting threads. This way the board won't look death. And people can see when you posted them, if they see, 'owh, that guy posted this today,' the board will look allot better then if it's completly empty. Give guests something to view, and new members something to reply/discuss in.

Second, try to advertise your board on other boards with the same or partly the same theme. Maybe it's also an idea to affiliate with them, so you'll get more traffic to your board. I don't know what kind off board you have, but you could always try to advertise on InvisionFree Skin Zone. Mostly, this could get you a few members. It's always worth the try.

Just try advertise for the coming weeks, and ask your members to do that as well. Make some nice graphics they could use in their signatures etc.

Good luck, I hope this helped you a bit .
