I havent tried it myself as of late, preferring to just stick with the usual Google Adsense methodology of advertising.

Well do you have goodle adsense?

If so edit the html of your vBulletin board via administration panel.
And select the Styles> Then the >> picture and click Header or Footer and add the html in there if you have Google Adsense or any other.

I prefer adding in Google advertisements into the postbit, navbar, and header templates. Of course if you wanted a more personalised approach you could add them to other frequently accessed templates. Checkout this tutorial on howto add banners to your forums.

i really like the control of phpadsnew... i have it installed and have a rotating banner on my site in the header.

i installed it on my forum and love the stats i can get from their control panel, shows number of displays, click throughs etc per day.

this is great info that can be forwarded back to your advertisers to show them what they are getting for their money.

Wouldn't you just use the "External Website" generator in PhpAdsNew to get the code and paste it into whatever template you want in vbulletin? I do that along with if conditionals so no ads appear for premium members or staff members.
