Hope I posted this in the right forum.. but here's my question... i've updated my vb to 352, and now of course i have templates I gotta fix.. i have hacks installed, and a different theme.. should I put the 352 theme thingy in?.. ive never had to do updates and stuff, so im kinda clueless on what to do

How many template modifications have you made?
Has your skin been released for vBulletin 3.5.2 yet?

Because of the new plugin system vBulletin has, whatever hacks or modifications you have got installed will be transferred successfully across the upgrade without any additional work. Although, if you have made any file edits these will have to be re-applied.

I havent made alot, just a few for the arcade I think.. the rest of the template mods were installed auto with the hack, will they stay?.. and yes my skin has been released for 352.... and i don't install mods that need me to edit the files, can't be bothered lol..

I see you all the time on vbstyles, I'm thinking about buying another skin.. if i put a new skin in, will all the templates that were installed auto from hacks, work on it?

Good man i hate file edits too, and it looks as though the only edits you have made where with the Arcade which will not be effected when you upgrade because they are created with a plugin anyway. I would recommend you upgrade now to vBulletin 3.5.2 with your skin, all you need to do is upload the new style .xml file, merging it into your old skin.

If you wanted to keep all your template modifications you would need to make the new skin as a "child" style. Which is easily do-able Thanks for joining
