My Password No Longer Works!

Today we upgraded to vBulletin forum software version 3.7.3, which introduced a user=pass checker. It found a good handful of users who's username turned out to be their password.

A vulnerability has been found with their password at vBulletin-Fans.com. Some passwords are vulnerable to exploitation which may allow a third party to hijack their account.

This may lead to their account being used without their knowledge or permission, and actions being performed under their name.

Vulnerable accounts can also be bad for the board as a whole as they may enable access for automated tools to spam both the forums and other user accounts, using their username.

As such we have had to reset the password for these accounts.
All affected users have received an email. If the email is outdated and no longer valid you might find yourself locked out. At which point I recommend to use the 'contact us' in the footer to contact the staff.
