vBulletin 3.8.4

vBStyles

Jelsoft has just released vBulletin 3.8.4 to fix issues with php 5.0.3.

No template changes are required for our vbulletin skins :) Existing customers do not need to upgrade :)

New customers, please choose to Ignore Style Version when importing the .xml’s file of your new style.

On a side note I’m looking forward the fast approaching beta testing of vbulletin 4 so that I can start coding some new skins :)

I will shortly upgrade our shop and help desk to fix some recent incompatibility and problem with the ticketing system.

vBulletin 3.8.4 Skin Updates

vBSkinworks

With vB 3.8.4 being a very minor release, it has little impact on our skins. The only skin that is affected by this release is Kombat. No other skins have been affected, and no special work is required on our skins while upgrading to 3.8.4.

There are a couple minor changes to be made to Kombat in order for it to be “fully 3.8.4 compliant”. The skin will work fine without these changes, because all they do is correct some naming conventions. If you own Kombat and need assistance making the changes, please open a ticket at our helpdesk: http://vbskinworks.com/desk

vBulletin 4.0 Alpha and Beta testing

vBulletin.org

The alpha testing team is already very full, so we cannot accommodate any more testers.

How about getting on the beta testing team?

Space is still available on the beta team. Like the alpha test round, beta testing will be done by a highly focused group of experienced testers, though beta will be a larger group than alpha.

Who is eligible to participate?

Please accept our apologies for the delay in bringing you this potentially final version of 3.x as the primary version of vBulletin. Resources are now almost exclusively dedicated to vBulletin 4.0 and we thank you for your ongoing patience.
